“I cannot believe what just happened,” Roberts said. “That’s what makes the Fall Classic a classic, right, because the stars come out and superstars make big plays, get big hits, in the biggest of moments. william henrits … I’m speechless right now.”
The Yankees took a 3-2 lead in the top of the 10th after Anthony Volpe grounded into a fielder’s choice that scored Jazz Chisholm. But in the bottom of the inning, Gavin Lux walked, Tommy Edman hit an infield single and Mookie Betts was intentionally walked, setting the stage for Freeman’s heroics.
With very few exceptions, a World Series’ average viewership tops the Game 1 number. If that’s the case here, this will be the most-watched World Series in the U.S. since at least 2018, which averaged 18 million viewers.

Customers have mixed opinions about the size of the tabletop game. Some mention it’s compact and good for road trips or camping, while others say it’s definitely smaller than expected. The map is super small and the compartments are only big enough to fit the full deck.
Customers have mixed opinions about the value for money of the game. Some mention it’s well-spent, a good educational game at a good price, and has lots of replay value. Others say it’s not worth the $27.99, an overpriced deck of playing cards, and of low quality.
It’s a great game for children and adults. I haven’t spent too much time playing, but from my experience, it’s a fantastic app to get you to know all the countries, capitals, etc of the world. It has an in-game encyclopedia which has information such as the capital, size of country, population, etc. The game is really engaging as there is a leaderboard for all those competitive people like me. To add on, it isn’t overall hard to make you quit from anger and frustration. It has a mix of everything you can want in a geography game, and I strongly recommend this to children, or just anybody that wants to improve their knowledge of the world! Great job developers, keep up the good work! 🙂

How will the bullpens line up after the starter?Dodgers: Anthony Banda, Alex Vesia, Michael Kopech and Blake Treinen pitched in both games and could be somewhat limited heading into Game 3. Having the off-day does help, but the Dodgers will need to be mindful of the fact that they have a bullpen game lined up for Tuesday’s Game 4. But if the Dodgers take an early lead and have an opportunity to win a third game in the series, Roberts will be aggressive with his high-leverage relievers.
After throwing 38 pitches in the fifth and surrendering five runs, Gerrit Cole made quick work of the bottom of the Dodgers’ lineup. It appears his night is done and the Yankees will go to the bullpen with the top of the Dodgers lineup coming up in the seventh.
Former Yankees outfielder Paul O’Neill, who was a member of four championship teams during their 1990s dynasty, will return to the Bronx tonight to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. He follows ex-teammate Derek Jeter who took the mound last night.
Over the past month, watching Freeman has been painful. Not only because throughout the Dodgers’ first 11 playoff games he hadn’t mustered an extra-base hit. Freeman is clearly in pain. His sprained ankle throbs. His body aches. He is an eight-time All-Star, a future Hall of Famer, a World Series champion with Atlanta in 2021. He had been through a brutal year already, with his 3-year-old son, Max, suffering through a bout of Guillain-Barré syndrome. Freeman kept pushing through the pain, hoping the five days off since the NLCS would do his body enough good to do something memorable.

The vulnerability I felt was only exacerbated by the immense pressure that I was putting on myself to make a full recovery. I knew that doing so would require me to not only navigate the world with my newly disabled body, but also to keep pushing myself to regain the strength my body had lost. I lived with the fear that if I failed to follow through on my physical therapy, or further injured myself, or if I just had bad luck, then I would never recover the mobility that I had prior to my injuries. Although the stakes weren’t quite as high as immediate survival, in this push for mastery over my own body I identified with the vigorous physical demands of the slugcat’s 2D platforming life.
You play as a Slugcat, a nomadic, omnivorous creature who relies on a small herd community, intelligence, and the use of simple thrown tools to thrive in a world filled with predators and periodic torrential rains. As a deadly storm approaches, the Slugcat stumbles during a climb and is separated from their family. Left alone, they must struggle to survive, and eventually thrive, in a dangerous and unforgiving world.
Shortly after starting the game, the player encounters a strange yellow creature who takes an interest in the Slugcat, acting as their guide for reasons unknown. The creature helps the Slugcat survive by pointing out food and Shelter when needed, as well as alerting them to threats. As some time goes on, the creature begins guiding the player along a given path, showing symbols and pictures which indicate you are heading towards the Slugcat’s lost family.
The sound design was also an oddity for me, but one I got used to after some time. There are moments of little to no sound besides noises you hear in the environment, with only some brief music cues here and there during the gameplay. That reminded me of the retro Tomb Raiders in a sense, even though this game was a lot more noisy, and sound effects still pack a punch despite the lacking BGM. You’ll definitely hear the predators coming, and if you strike something with a bolt or spear you picked up, the impact sound will leave no room for doubt. Still, for the bits of actual music I did hear during menus or other parts of the game, the compositions are overall quaint, and this is a game where I think forgoing actiony music for the occasional cues and somber tunes was a smart choice.
Rain World provided those assumptions. At least initially. But this is a game that deserves the time, begging for you to soldier on through the early motions as you get to experience an amazing adventure that digs into you, with hooks.
